"I had the pleasure of meeting Abdullah in Pakistan two years ago. His knowledge of the history of the country in all realms was extensive and greatly added to my ability to enjoy the stunning scenery and cultural wonderland around me. He has a thriving sense of adventure and there was never a dull moment in his company. I have found a great friend in Abdullah and am looking forward to seeing him succeed in this new role in the mountains he calls home.

"Abdullah is a very passionate and caring person and has all the qualities of a good guide. When you are away from everything in the wilderness you need a reliable and a trustworthy guide on your side. I met him in 2018 on our trip to K2 base camp and we went through some unexpected weather & challenges and he came through all the time. He is very knowledgeable and has an innate ability to make friends which is very much needed when working with locals. I wish him well and know with the grit that he has will do great.

Frequently asked questions
- 01Yes 100%, this tour is designed for solo women travellers, totally safe and secure! Be it a solo traveler or a girls’ group, all the itinerary places are very hospitable and receptive to foreigner guests including women. Statistically, 70% of the guests on our earlier tours were female travellers, and were totally comfortable with the vibe. Check our testimonials. If you have any specific question about anything, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
- 02Top Luxury available in the region! All the pictures of rooms are already shared on the 'Tour page' under 'Package' details. In Skardu & Hunza (5 nights of the tour), we book the most luxurious and best hotels. These locations are remote and have few good hotel options, creating availability issues sometimes. Our team will communicate all details at the time of booking. In Islamabad (1 night of the tour), we book the 2nd best hotel because Islamabad has a-lot of high-quality options unlike Skardu. You will be all set in Islamabad.
- 03Yes, not a problem! Just let us know at the time of booking. We will give you an updated itinerary. In most cases price will be same as of Skardu tour, subject to final itinerary. However, we strongly recommend Skardu & Deosai over Hunza. The primary reason is that Hunza is way more touristy than Skardu. Thats why you will find a high amount of Hunza content available online. On the other hand, Skardu is still a remote Karakoram valley which offers a pristine touch to the mesmerising Karakoram beauty.
- 04Ideally, you should reach anytime in the sun hours of the Day-1 of the tour. Our staff will pick you up from the Islamabad airport and drop at the hotel. Next day you will be again dropped-off at Islamabad airport for domestic Skardu flight. The flight leaves between 7 to 11 am generally. However, if you are landing at an odd time at Islamabad, just let us know. We will manage accordingly.
- 05Depends how early we get to know this. We have kept one day in Islamabad to avoid these kind of delays. In any case of international flight cancellation, your domestic flights need to be rescheduled, and hotel booking dates need to be changed. This is subject to availability. It will also incur some additional cancellation/re-scheduling charges by the airline or hotel.
- 06This happens many times due to weather. Normally they reschedule the flight within next few hours or the next day. The other option to reach Skardu is by road (15-hrs) drive. Our team will sort the best optimal solution with you according to the weather conditions. We encourage to keep a one day buffer on your return date of international flight.
- 07Our itinerary places are 100% safe for tourists. As per official police reports registered, Skardu and Hunza district have the lowest crime rates in Pakistan. The only threat you will face is over-eating and plethora of selfie-requests :D
- 08Yes, you can change the glamping nights into hotel nights. Let our team know at the time of booking the tour.
- 09No, we will only provide you with hotel pick & drop from the Islamabad airport. If you need a guide or a dedicated car, we can book it for you. Do note that Islamabad has all ride-hailing services, Careem, Uber, In-drive. They are more cost effective generally.
- 10You will apply a tourist/visit visa at https://visa.nadra.gov.pk/.(https://visa.nadra.gov.pk/) We will give you a Visa Invitation letter to facilitate the process. Don’t worry, we will guide you at every step of the process.
- 11Alcohol is illegal for muslims in Pakistan. However, for non-muslims it is not illegal to consume or buy from licensed bars. On our tours, we can arrange it for you beforehand, provided you let us know well in advance.
